[edit]None of the Macintosh II-series machines had anything resembling a DSP chip. The only Macs to have DSP chips were the later, short-lived series of AV Macs from 1993 (Centris--later Quadra--660AV and Quadra 840AV).
After this came the first PowerPC Macs in 1994, and their CPUs were deemed powerful enough to perform DSP-type tasks directly, so they never had anything resembling DSP hardware.
